Anton Dietrich (politician)
Anton Dietrich (born February 15, 1943 in Lauingen (Danube) , † April 22, 2004 in Dillingen an der Donau ) was a German politician ( CSU ).
Dietrich attended elementary school in Lauingen and passed the Abitur at the humanistic grammar school in Neuburg an der Donau . He studied law and political science at the universities of Munich and Würzburg and passed both state legal examinations. He then worked as a government assessor for the government of Swabia . In 1970 he moved to the district office in Günzburg , where he was initially a member of the government , and from 1974 to the senior government. Dietrich, who was the chairman of the Junge Union in the Swabian district and chairman of the CSU parliamentary group in the Dillinger district council, was elected to the state parliament in 1974.
In May 1978 he resigned this mandate when he was elected District Administrator of the Dillingen district. The European St. Ulrichs Prize , awarded by the district and town of Dillingen, was initiated by him. The office of district administrator, to which he was re-elected four times, he carried out until his death. He died of cardiovascular failure.
