Anton Klementyev ( Russian Антон Сергеевич Клементьев ., English transcription: Anton Klementyev * 25. March 1990 in Togliatti , Russia ) is a Russian ice hockey player who since September 2013 when HC Spartak Moscow is under contract and Sokol Krasnoyarsk in Wysschaja Hockey -Liga plays.
Career
Kelmentjew began his career in the second team of Lokomotive Yaroslavl , for which he was active between 2006 and 2009 in the Pervaya League . During the 2008/09 season he made his debut for the first team in the KHL . In the 2009 NHL Entry Draft , he was selected in the fifth round by the New York Islanders in 122nd place. He has been under contract with the Jackets since summer 2009 and plays for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the American Hockey League .
On March 27, 2010 Klementjew made his NHL debut when his Islanders played against the Columbus Blue Jackets .
International
For Russia , Klementjew took part in the 2010 U20 World Junior Championship .
