Anton Ospel
Anton Johann Ospel (born June 2, 1677 in Klösterle im Klostertal , † April 3, 1756 in Vienna ) was an Austrian architect and baroque master builder.
Life
From 1711 to 1721, Ospel was the court architect of the Princes of Liechtenstein and built the castles of Valtice in the Czech Republic and Wilfersdorf in Lower Austria. In 1722, Ospel was appointed kit keeper and gun captain of the city of Vienna. He built palaces and town houses in Vienna.
