Anton Philipp Freiherr von Breidbach-Bürresheim called vom Ried (born November 3, 1791 in Mainz , † October 30, 1878 in Heddernheim ) was a Nassau major general and member of the 1st Chamber of the Nassau estates.

Breidbach-Bürresheim was the son of Friedrich Freiherr von Breidbach-Bürresheim called von Riedt and his wife Philippine Magdalene Countess and noble daughter von und zu Eltz called Faust von Stromberg. Breidbach-Bürresheim, who was a Catholic denomination, married Amalie Freiin von Gagern on April 7, 1817 (born January 21, 1798 in Weilburg; † April 1, 1880 in Aschaffenburg), the daughter of Hans Christoph Ernst von Gagern and his wife Charlotte Freiin from Gaugreben.

He embarked on a military career and was most recently Major General à la suite and Wing Adjudant in the Ducal Nassau Army . He was head stableman . 1826–1847 he was a member of the Herrenbank of the Landtag of the Duchy of Nassau . In 1848 he was a member of the Frankfurt pre-parliament . From 1858 to 1863 he was a member of Nassau as the representative of Archduke Stephan . I. Chamber. In addition, he was director of the Wiesbaden theater for many years . He is buried with his wife in Hornau . The grave is part of the listed group of Gagern graves .
