Anton von Nagel zu Aichberg (born September 27, 1798 in Vienna , † November 16, 1859 in Amberg ) was a German administrative officer and politician.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1817, Nagel zu Aichberg studied law at the (today's) Wilhelmsgymnasium in Munich from 1818 onwards at the University of Landshut , where he was the founder of the Corps Isaria . In 1821 he became a legal trainee at the district court in Weilheim , in 1824 an accessist at the district and city court in Munich, 1826 at the appellate court in Landshut, 1828 at the district court in Weilheim, in 1829 civil servant at the district court in Schongau , in the same year as second assessor at the district court in Miesbach, in 1832 as first assessor on District court Weilheim, 1840 district judge at the district court in Oberviechtach, 1849 district judge at the district court and city commissioner in Amberg.

From May 18, 1848 to May 7, 1849, Nagel zu Aichberg was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly . He belonged to the Café Milani faction and voted against the election of Friedrich Wilhelm IV as Emperor of the Germans.
