The district court of Weilheim was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1803 to 1879 and was based in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria in what is now the district of Weilheim-Schongau . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

In 1803, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the district court of Weilheim (older order) was established, which had different tasks than the former district court of Weilheim .

The newly founded district court came to the Isarkkreis , which was renamed Upper Bavaria in 1838.

On the basis of the edict of May 13, 1808, 45 tax districts were formed. The municipal edicts of 1808 and 1818 formed the municipalities on the basis of the tax districts. In 1818, the Weilheim district court counted 41 communities in addition to the city of Weilheim: Aidling , Ammerhöfe , Antdorf , Arnried , Bernried , Deutenhausen , Eberfing , Eglfing , Etting , Fischen , Forst , Frauenrain , Großweil , Habach , Haid , Haunshofen , Hechendorf , Huglfing , Iffeldorf , Kleinweil , Magnetsried , Murnau , Oberhausen , Obersöchering , Oderding , Pähl , Polling , Riegsee , Sankt Johannisrain , Schlehdorf , Schöffau , Seehausen , Seeshaupt , Sindelsdorf , Spatzenhausen , Uffing , Unterhausen , Unterpeißenberg , Weindorf , Wessobrunn and Wielenbach .
