Paradiso played a total of 11 mandatory games (championship, Swiss Cup, European Cup) for FC Zurich. However, he did not succeed in scoring. He now works as a bank clerk for Crédit-Suisse. His parents immigrated to Switzerland in 1956 . He has a wife and two sons and lives with them in Niederurnen ( Glarus Nord municipality ). Paradiso is a trained carpenter and was a professional footballer for a total of 9 years. He was in the starting line-up of FC Glarus when they sensationally defeated FC Basel 2-1 in the NLB game on August 13, 1988 (1988/89 season) at the legendary St. Jakob (Joggeli) stadium.
