The Augsburg Antonsviertel is a district of Augsburg. It is the 14th of 42 Augsburg districts and at the same time the Xth of XVII. Augsburg planning rooms. The Antonsviertel is named after the Catholic parish church St. Anton . This was built from 1924 to 1927 and is striking with its clinker stone facade . The Antonsviertel has an area of around 1.58 km² with around 6,200 inhabitants, making it the twelfth smallest district of Augsburg.
The Antonsviertel is bounded by the following districts:
- in the northwest through the Rosenau and Thelottviertel
- in the northeast through the Bahnhofs- , Bismarckviertel
- in the southwest through " Göggingen - Northwest"
- in the south through " Göggingen - Northeast"
- in the southeast through the high field
The Antonsviertel is two tram stops away from the center of Augsburg, the Königsplatz. The geographical center of Augsburg is located at the intersection of Eichleitner Strasse and Memminger Strasse.
