Emily Browning

Emily Jane Browning (born December 7, 1988 in Melbourne , Victoria ) is an Australian actress .
Life
Emily Browning began her acting career as a child. She played Lady Macbeth in Macbeth as part of the Learning Co-op in Hurstbridge in the Australian state of Victoria . She took her first professional role as Opal Ritchie in The Echo of Thunder with Judy Davis in the lead role. Other appearances: The children's series Thunderstone (Thunderstone - The return of the animals); High Flyers and Forest of Dreams ; Something in the Air for ABC; regular guest appearances as Hayley Fulton in Blue Heelers on Channel 7; the guest starring role of Christie in Halifax fp - Playing God (Halifax - episode not run in Germany) and the miniseries After the Deluge with Rachel Griffiths and Hugo Weaving .
On screen, Browning played Rebecca Myers in The Man Who Sued God with Billy Connolly and Judy Davis, young Caitlin in The Curse of Darkness Falls with Emma Caulfield for Revolution Studios and Grace Kelly in Ned Kelly with Heath Ledger . Browning was also featured in Lemony Snicket , in which she starred as Violet Baudelaire and played against Count Olaf ( Jim Carrey ). She also appeared in the video Light Surrounding You by the Australian band Evermore . In 2011 she played the lead role as Baby Doll in the action fantasy film Sucker Punch and the lead role in the Australian drama Sleeping Beauty directed by Julia Leigh. Further film productions followed. Since 2017 she can be seen in the series adaptation of the book American Gods .

From 2007 to 2010 she was with Max Turner, from 2011 to 2012 she was in a relationship with Max Irons .
