Emma Caulfield (* 8. April 1973 in San Diego as Emma chukka ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

Emma Caulfield grew up in San Diego. She studied acting at the La Jolla Playhouse and the Old Globe Theater , where she received the Excellence in Theater Arts award. She then studied psychology at San Francisco State University and at the University of California, Los Angeles . She then studied acting again at the American School in London .

Caulfield starred in the Beverly Hills television series , 90210, from 1995 to 1996 . From 1996 to 1997 she played Lorraine Miller in the General Hospital series . She made the role of Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer , which she played from 1998 to 2003, particularly well-known . For this role she was nominated for a Satellite Award in 2003 . For her role in the horror film The Curse of Darkness Falls and in Buffy , Caulfield was recognized at the 2003 Saturn Awards of the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. In 2004, she appeared in the television comedy I Want to Marry Ryan Banks , alongside Jason Priestley .

In 2007 Caulfield played the lead role of Sarah in the short film Hollow , for whose portrayal she received several awards. In the second season of the series Life Unexpected - Suddenly Family , she played Emma Bradshaw . Since 2010, Caulfield has had a recurring role as Sascha in the television series Gigantic .
