Lawsuit against the Indian Athletics Federation

In July 2016 Raghavan filed a lawsuit in the Kerala High Court against the Indian Athletics Federation (AFI) against their non return visit for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro one. According to Raghavan, she was only not nominated for the 4 x 400 meter relay because she trained with her personal trainer PB Jaikumar instead of with the national coach Jurij Ohorodnik . The court found the athlete right and forced the association to nominate Raghavan, but the nomination period had already expired.
