history

In 1910, the Kléber-Colombes company was founded, specializing in the processing of elastomers and elastic compounds. In 1956, the automotive supplier Woco Industrietechnik GmbH started work. Woco entered the anti-vibration sector in 1980. At that time, the first automobile parts were made in a rubber-metal combination, which made it possible to reduce vibrations and driving noise in the car. The basis for this were innovations in the field of rubber, plastic and metal bonding technology. Michelin took over the Kléber Group in 1982, founded CMP Kléber Industry and also worked in rubber processing for vehicles. At the turn of the millennium, the experience gained up to then flowed into a joint venture between Woco and Michelin. Under the name Woco Michelin AVS, the company initially continued production at its headquarters in Bad Soden-Salmünster and at various locations around the world. Olaf Hahn bought the joint venture together with the financial investor Arques Industries AG in 2007 and renamed it to today's Anvis Group GmbH. The management took over Olaf Hahn, who leads the company to this day. With the 100 percent takeover by the Japanese group Sumitomo Riko, a strategic investor joined in 2013.
