Apicius is a journal of haute cuisine . In addition to the original Spanish edition, it is also published in English, French, Italian and Dutch. Apicius is published by Montagud Editores and appears twice a year. Its name goes back to the Roman gourmet and cookbook author Marcus Gavius Apicius .
In addition to recipes and descriptions of new methods and techniques, the magazine contains professional portraits of well-known top chefs. The authors of the articles include Ferran Adrià , Alex Atala , Michel Bras , Heston Blumenthal , Quique Dacosta , Luis Adúriz , Massimiliano Alajmo , Pascal Barbot and Pierre Hermé .
