Apostolic Nunciature for Sierra Leone
The Apostolic Nunciature for Sierra Leone is the official diplomatic representation of the Holy See in the West African state of Sierra Leone . The apostolic nuncio is Archbishop Dagoberto Campos Salas , who also heads the Apostolic Nunciatures for Gambia and Liberia .
The representation was first established in 1979 as an apostolic delegation and in 1996 elevated to the status of an apostolic nunciature .
