Giuseppe Ferraioli

Giuseppe Ferraioli (born December 20, 1929 in Rome , Italy , † January 31, 2000 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and Vatican diplomat .

Life

Giuseppe Ferraioli received on 8 December 1954 the auxiliary bishop in Rome , Archbishop Luigi Traglia , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On May 31, 1976, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Volturnum and ordered him to Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Ghana . The Cardinal Secretary of State, Jean-Marie Cardinal Villot , donated him episcopal ordination on June 27 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the secretary of the Council for the Public Affairs of the Church, Archbishop of the Curia, Agostino Casaroli , and the secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Archbishop of the Curia, Duraisamy Simon Lourdusamy .

On August 25, 1979, Giuseppe Ferraioli was also Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Benin and Apostolic Delegate in Togo . Pope John Paul II appointed him on July 21, 1981 Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Kenya and Apostolic Delegate in the Seychelles . In 1982 Ferraioli became official in the Vatican State Secretariat .

Giuseppe Ferraioli resigned as an official at the Vatican State Secretariat in 1994.
