The Apostolic Vicariate of Hubei ( lat. : Apostolicus Vicariatus de Horn ) was in China located Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate with headquarters in Wuhan .
history
The Apostolic Vicariate of Hubei was founded in 1696 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Hubei and Hunan out of the Apostolic Vicariate of Fujian . With the spin-off of the Apostolic Vicariate Hunan , the Apostolic Vicariate Hubei and Hunan became the Apostolic Vicariate Hubei on April 8, 1856 by Pope Pius IX. renamed. On September 2, 1870, the Apostolic Vicariate Hubei was by Pius IX. dissolved with the papal bull Quae Christianae rei . The Apostolic Vicariates Northwest Hubei , Southwest Hubei and East Hubei were established from the territory of the Apostolic Vicariate Hubei .
