Aqqaluk healer

Aqqaluk Karl-Peter Julius Edvard Heilmann [ ˈɑqːaluk ˈhai̯lman ] (born May 19, 1974 in Upernavik ) is a Greenlandic politician ( Partii Naleraq ).

Aqqaluk Heilmann has already worked as a fisherman, health worker, firefighter, taxi driver, telephone operator, ship navigator and musician. He has three children with his wife Sara.

He stood for the 2017 local elections and was elected to the Council of Avannaata Kommunia for the Atassut . He also ran for parliamentary elections in 2018 and was able to reach the second place of the Atassut. When Atassut received a second ministerial post after the Partii Naleraq left the coalition and both members of parliament, Siverth K. Heilmann and Aqqalu Jerimiassen , Aqqaluk Heilmann came to Inatsisartut in October 2018 . When the Atassut left the coalition in April 2019, Aqqaluk Heilmann resigned from parliament. On January 9, 2020, in response to the change of course of the party under Aqqalu Jerimiassen, he left the party because he did not agree with the new anti-independence policy and joined the Partii Naleraq.
