The Aram Quartet was an Italian musical group best known for winning the first Italian edition of the talent show X Factor in 2008 .

Band history

The quartet from Apulia first took part in the auditions for X Factor 2008, where it was supervised by juror Morgan . The name ARAM is an acronym for the members' four first names. During the show they made it to the finals and finally won over Giusy Ferreri with the song Who (Chi) written by Morgan and Gaudì , which earned them a record deal with Sony BMG . In 2008 the group released the EP ChiARAMente , but in 2009 the first studio album Il pericolo di essere liberi was released . After this did not bring the hoped-for success and the group was not approved for participation in the Sanremo Festival , the Aram Quartet disbanded in 2010.
