Soul System is an Italian band best known for winning the X Factor talent show in 2016 .

history

Four of the band members are of Ghanaian origin, but all were born in Italy, between Verona and Brescia . They met in local Ghanaian and evangelical communities and eventually decided to form a band. The starting point for this was Ainoo's recording studio. In the summer of 2016 they had a number of live performances. Then the band made it into the selection for X Factor : initially rejected, juror Álvaro Soler brought them back after the band Jarvis had left early at their own request. Soul System made it to the finals and eventually won the competition. Her song presented there was She's Like a Star .

Together with Sergio Sylvestre , the band performed on the third evening of the 2017 Sanremo Festival . At the beginning of July of that year she released a new single with the song Liquido , which contains a sample of Narcotic by the German band Liquido .
