Sergio Sylvestre

Sergio Sylvestre (* 5. December 1990 in Los Angeles as Sergio field Sylvestre ) is an American pop singer, who in 2016 with his victory at the Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi was known.

Career

Sylvestre is the son of a Haitian father and a Mexican mother. He was a promising football player during his high school years , but was forced to quit after an injury. He also learned the piano . After school, he traveled to Salento, Italy, and decided to settle in Lecce for an indefinite period . In the summer of 2014, Sylvestre joined the music group Samsara Beach as a singer and sang for house projects. At the casting show X Factor , he did not make it through the preselection, but in 2016 he entered the casting show Amici di Maria De Filippi . With the song Big Boy , which was written by Ermal Meta , he was able to prevail in the final against his competitors. He then released his first EP , which could reach the top of the Italian album charts.

At the Sanremo Music Festival in 2017 Sylvestre participated for the first time. His contribution Con te , co-written by Giorgia , reached sixth place in the final.
