Nathalie (* 16th December 1979 in Rome as Natalia Beatrice Giannitrapani ) is an Italian pop singer , in 2010 by its victory in the talent show X Factor was known.

Career

Nathalie was born in Rome to an Italian father and a Belgian mother. She initially worked as a singing teacher and wrote songs herself in Italian, English and French. In addition, she also played in improvisational theater . For the first time, she achieved greater public awareness in 2005 through a second place at the Biella Festival and some television appearances. This was followed by participation in the mission demo of Rai Radio 1 , where Nathalie 2006 the price of the SIAE and 2009 the Lady's Award won.

In 2010, the singer took part in the fourth season of the talent show X Factor . She was the first woman to win the competition in juror Elio's team . With her show contribution In punta di piedi she also reached the top of the Italian charts. The song was also included on the EP of the same name , which was released a little later. Nathalie was also announced as a participant in the 2011 Sanremo Festival , where she finished seventh with Vivo sospesa in the final. The album of the same name has now also reached the top 10 of the album charts.

It wasn't until 2013 that a new album followed with Anima di vento .
