Argemiro Roque

Argemiro Roque (born October 30, 1923 in Itatiba ; † February 6, 1998 ) was a Brazilian sprinter and middle-distance runner .

At the Pan American Games in Buenos Aires in 1951 , he was fifth over 800 m .

In 1952 he won the South American Athletics Championships in Buenos Aires over 800 m and won silver over 400 m . At the Olympic Games in Helsinki he was eliminated in both disciplines in the preliminary stages.

In 1954 he won silver over 400 m and 800 m at the South American Championships in São Paulo . The following year he was sixth over 800 m at the Pan American Games in Mexico City in 1955 .

At the South American Championships in Santiago in 1956 , he won bronze over 400 m and 800 m. In 1958 in Montevideo he was South American champion over 400 m and won bronze over 800 m.
