The Argent-Or (also: Argentor ) is a river in France that runs in the Charente department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises under the name Argent on the municipal boundary of Saint-Laurent-de-Céris and Saint-Coutant , first drains in a south-westerly direction, then swings to the north-west and reaches the city of Champagne-Mouton . The Or stream flows into it from the right, and from this point the river is called the Argent-Or . It is now heading west and southwest and, after a total of 29 kilometers, flows into the Charente as a left tributary in the municipality of Poursac .
