Ari Millen (born January 19, 1982 in Kingston ) is a Canadian actor who is best known for his role in Orphan Black .

life and career

Ari Millen is originally from Kingston . He attended the theater program of the Queen Elizabeth Collegiate for a year . In 2007, after four years, he graduated from the Ryerson Theater School in Toronto with a Bachelor of Fine Arts .

He began his acting career with an appearance on the Canadian television series The Smart Woman Survival Guide in 2007. He became best known through the short film Makeout! in 2008 and through the film Monster Brawl 2011. Appearances in Rookie Blue , Darknet and Played followed . In 2014, he earned a role on the award-winning Orphan Black series . There he embodies Mark Rollins and his clones in a multiple role . He has been part of the main cast since the third season.

He is engaged to the Canadian actress Kassandra Santos. They have a daughter together (* 2015). The couple married in Toronto on August 28, 2016.
