Arjuno-Welirang is a volcanic complex on the island of Java in Indonesia .
The volcanoes Arjuno ( 3339 m ) and Welirang ( 3156 m ) form the southeast and northwest ends of the 6 km long chain of volcanic cones and craters. The volcanic complex overlies two older volcanoes, the Gunung Ringgit in the east and the Gunung Linting in the south. Neither the Arjuno nor the Welirang are forested. Several pyroclastic cones are located on the northern flank of Welirang and south of Arjuno. There are also several fumarole fields with sulfur deposits on the slopes of Welirang . Historical records show two eruptions on October 30, 1950 and August 1952.
