Taka Bone Rate is a maritime Indonesian national park in the Banda Sea (as defined by the IHO ), south of Sulawesi (according to another definition already in the Flores Sea ). Administratively it belongs to the Salajar Islands Governorate , South Sulawesi Province . It contains 15 islands and the third largest atoll in the world with an area of ​​2200 km². The national park, founded in 2001, is 5307 km² in size. Taka Bone Rate is also a diving area .

On July 2, 2005, Taka Bone Rate was placed on the tentative list for World Heritage in Indonesia .
