The Bogani-Nani-Wartabone National Park is located on the Minahassa peninsula on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia and is 2871 km² in size. The national park was established in 1991 and was formerly known as Dumoga Bone National Park . It was renamed in honor of Nani Wartabone , a local resistance fighter from World War II .

The park has been rated by the Wildlife Conservation Society as the premier site for wildlife conservation in Sulawesi. It is home to a large number of endemic species. One of the rarest animals in the park is the anoa , a very small jungle cattle.

Hammer grouse , deer boar , Sulawesi pustular pig and Gorontalo macaque can also be found in the reserve . The park is threatened by uncontrolled deforestation of the rain forest , poaching and illegal gold mining .
