The Danau Sentarum National Park is located on the island of Borneo in the Indonesian province of West Kalimantan . The system of lakes, swamp and dry forests of Danau Sentarum forms one of the largest and most important freshwater wetlands in Asia. The water system of the national park is connected to that of the Kapuas , the longest river in Indonesia.
Around 250 species of fish live in the park, including the Asian forked mustache and the loach .
