The Selayar Islands , also Selajar Islands ( Indonesian Kepulauan Selayar ), are an Indonesian group of islands. They form an administrative district ( Kabupaten ) of the Sulawesi Selatan province , south of the island of Sulawesi . The district includes the main island of Selayar and several minor islands, including Pasi Tallu , Gusung Tallang , Bahuluang , Kalao , Bonerate , Kajuwadi , Jampea , Lalao (also Lambego) and Kalaotoa . 121,905 inhabitants live here (2010).
