The Arkansas Mountain AVA is a wine-growing region that has been designated since September 26, 1986 by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in the US state of Arkansas . The name also serves as a designation of origin for the wines produced there.

The vineyards are spread over the administrative districts of Pope County , Madison County and Crawford County in north-west Arkansas.
The Arkansas Mountain AVA is part of the Ozark Mountains growing area , which has been defined across states and has vineyards in the states of Missouri and Oklahoma in addition to areas in Arkansas .
With a defined area of 1,165,000 hectares, Arkansas Mountain AVA was the ninth largest acreage in the United States in 2008. Despite the enormous size of the area, there is hardly any viticulture.
A sub-region of the Arkansas Mountain AVA is the Altus AVA .
