Arktos (Publisher)

Arktos is a publisher based in London . It was founded in 2010 as a Swedish-English joint project. Arktos is one of the leading New Right publishers in Europe. Publishing director is Daniel Friberg.

History and publishing program

Arktos describes his publications as cross-ideological, although a focus is on authors of the European New Right . The publisher has published more than 115 books so far. The publishing program received reviews and a. in Junge Freiheit , Secession , German Voice , The American Conservative , at AdBusters , Los Angeles Reader , The New York Times , New England Review , The New American and Occidental Observer .

In June 2013 the publisher organized the 5th “Identitarian Idé” congress in Stockholm . As speakers, u. a. Paul Gottfried (paleoconservative philosopher), Manuel Ochsenreiter ( First! ) And Philippe Vardon ( Bloc identitaire ) took part. Arktos also publishes the book of the Identitarian Movement by Markus Willinger ( The Identitarian Generation ).

Proximity to right-wing extremism

According to the British anti-fascist magazine Searchlight Magazine, there are close contacts between the publisher and the Swedish neo-Nazi scene. NFSE-Media, the company responsible for the website of the right-wing extremist platform Metapedia , is in the background of the publisher .
