Armin Dewes (born December 4, 1979 in Lebach ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Armin Dewes was trained at the volleyball boarding school in Frankfurt before joining Bundesliga club VfB Friedrichshafen in 2000 , with whom he was German champion twice and the DVV Cup three times . In 2003 he switched to league competitor VV Leipzig . In 2005 the middle blocker went abroad to Knack Randstad Roeselare , with whom he became Belgian champion and cup winner in 2006. He then played one season in Cyprus with Paphos before returning to the Bundesliga in 2007 and winning the DVV Cup again with Generali Haching in 2009 and 2010. He then moved to the second division TSV Grafing . Armin Dewes was one of the best block players in the rankings of German volleyball for several years and played 11 times for the German national team .
