Armin Kremer (born December 4, 1968 in Crivitz ) is a German rally driver . He was European champion in 2001 and German rally champion in 1996, 1998 and 1999, and he also won the APRC in 2003.

After he only competed in rally raids like the Baja 1000 , he started the 2011 Rally Argentina in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X and in 2012 in a Subaru Impreza WRX .

Kremer occasionally works as an expert on rally transmissions for the TV station Eurosport .

Accident at the 1997 Rally Germany

On July 4, 1997, Kremer had a serious accident with his Subaru Impreza on the ninth special stage of the Rally Germany . The vehicle hit a tree on Landesstraße 85 between Blasweiler and Heckenbach , rolled over and immediately caught fire. While Kremer was still able to save himself from the burning vehicle, his co-driver and childhood friend Sven Behling burned in the wreck.
