Armin Pongs

Armin Pongs (born January 18, 1968 in Rheydt ) is a German sociologist, writer and children's book author .

Live and act

From 1989 to 1996 , Pongs studied psychology , sociology and political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and then worked as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Psychological Research until 1999. In addition to his scientific work, he published articles in various specialist journals and daily newspapers. From 2004 to 2005 he was a lecturer at the University in Cluj, -Napoca, Romania, from 2005 to 2009 research assistant at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and from 2009 to 2012 lecturer at the Zeppelin Universityin Friedrichshafen. Since 2008 he has been writing children's books and giving readings in primary schools in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In 1997 he founded the "Dilemma Verlag", in 2000 the speaker agency "podium24" and in 2014 the Marmorschnecken-Verlag based in Rimsting am Chiemsee. In 2014 he also founded the music label "Krokofon".

Armin Pongs is married and lives alternately on the Chiemsee and in Istanbul.
