The Armor Peninsula is an ice-covered peninsula on the West Antarctic Siple Island . Off the Bakutis coast of Marie-Byrd-Land , it is located immediately east of Armor Inlet .

The United States Geological Survey mapped the peninsula using aerial photographs by the United States Navy between 1959 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it, like the bay of the same name, after the Armor Institute of Technology in Chicago , which hosted the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939 –1941) financially supported the purchase of the Snow Cruiser .
