Arnaud Anastassowa (born January 23, 1988 in Forbach , France ) is a Franco- Bulgarian football player on the position of a defender .

Career

youth

Anastasowa began playing football in the youth division of his home club, the US Forbach . For this he went through several youth league classes until 2005 before moving to the youth department of FC Metz , whose professional team was represented at the time in Ligue 1 , the top division in French football. At the club he was mainly used in the youth team or in the B team. After years in the youth Anastasova fought for a place in the squad of the professional team, which after the 2005/06 season ranked in last place in the second highest league, Ligue 2 , relegated. After a good 2006/07 season, the team managed to get promoted again with almost no problems.

Club career

After he had already been in the professional team several times, Anastassova finally made his professional debut in Ligue 1 on May 17, 2008 in a 4-3 home win over UC Le Mans . In the game of the 38th and thus last round of the season the young Frenchman, whose parents are from Bulgaria, played the full length of the game. Right at the end of the season, the team rose again in the last place in the second division. Also in the 2008/09 season Anastasova was in the squad of professionals, but did not come to any league use, which is why the club management decided to pass Anastasova on to another club after 39 missions for the B-team.

On July 4, 2009 it was announced that the defender had been signed by Luxembourg's F91 Dudelange . With the first team to play in the national division, he made his team debut on August 2, 2009, when he was on the pitch for the full game in a 3-1 away win over CS Fola Esch . After injuring his meniscus in the early stages at the new club and thus being out for a certain period of time, he only made three championship appearances by the winter and then left the Luxembourgers - according to the club - for Grenoble . After apparently several months without a club, he joined his home and former training club US Forbach in the summer of 2010 , where he played in the French lower class. In the summer of 2014 he moved to Sarreguemines FC . Here he played only three games and at the end of the season he left the club with an unknown goal.

For the 2018/19 season, the player will appear in the squad of the Saarland district division FC Ensdorf .
