Arndt Siemerding

Arndt Siemerding ( Hanoverian citizen since 1547/48; † between November 22, 1565 and August 28, 1566) was a German sculptor and early representative of the Renaissance in Hanover.

Siemerding was part of a Hanoverian family of craftsmen and artists from the 16th to 18th centuries, which included goldsmiths, portrait painters, bricklayers and carpenters. He was the great-grandfather of Adrian Siemerding , the goldsmith Jürgen Siemerding was consequently his son, as Adrian is named as the grandfather of Adrian.
