Arne Ellingsen (born August 21, 1924 in Sande ; † June 24, 2010 ) was a Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Ellingsen won the silver medal behind Arnfinn Bergmann on the normal hill at the Norwegian Championships in Oslo in 1953 . In December he made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament 1953/54 . Ellingen surprised with fourth place in Oberstdorf . After a 21st place on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he repeated his fourth place in Innsbruck and narrowly missed the podium for the second time. On the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen he finished his first and only tour with a 10th place. In the overall standings, Ellingsen took sixth place with 820.1 points.
