Arno Schmidt mailing list

The “Arno Schmidt Mailing List”, or ASML for short , was started in 1998 in order to be able to easily, efficiently and worldwide discuss questions and answers about the life, work and impact of the writer and translator Arno Schmidt . In the meantime, with almost 600 participants, it was one of the largest literature mailing lists on the German-speaking Internet. In July 2019, the list was accidentally deleted and had to be restarted. In December 2019 it had around 200 participants.

Karl Kraus mailing list

A year later there were two “ Karl Kraus ” anniversaries to be celebrated: Finally, at the beginning of April 1899, the first issue of his life's work “ Die Fackel ” was published, and 1999 was the 125th anniversary of Kraus's birthday. It therefore made sense to start the “Karl Kraus mailing list” (KKML), based on the tried and tested model of the “Arno Schmidt mailing list”, to which almost 300 participants have meanwhile belonged. The list was discontinued in November 2017.

Correspondence between Schiller & Goethe

On June 13, 2009, Damaschke began to publish the complete correspondence between Schiller and Goethe in his own blog.
