Arnold Loyacano

Arnold "Deacon" Loyacano (* 13. August 1889 , † October 1962 in Louisiana ) was an American jazz - bassist and pianist of the New Orleans Jazz and Chicago jazz .

Loyacano played in New Orleans with Papa Jack Laine and went to Chicago early with Tom Brown in 1915 (as one of the first jazz musicians). He played with the New Orleans Rhythm Kings (as the predecessor of Steve Brown ). From 1919 to 1953 he was involved in four recording sessions in the field of jazz.
