The Arroyo Sarandí del Arapey is a river in Uruguay .
It rises on the border of the Salto department to the neighboring Artigas department in the Cuchilla de Belén, west of the Ruta 30 that runs there . From there it runs in a south-westerly direction and touches the northern edge of Sarandí del Arapeys after about the first quarter of the distance to be covered . It finally flows into the Río Arapey as a right-hand tributary .
