The Arroyo de las Islas is a river in eastern Uruguay .
The river, which belongs to the catchment area of the Laguna Merín, rises a few kilometers north of Vergara in the Cuchilla Cerro Largo . It runs north-south direction in the area of the departments of Treinta y Tres and finally empties into Vergara as a left-sided Creek in the Arroyo del Parao .
