The Arsiani Mountains ( Georgian არსიანის ქედი ; Turkish Yalnızçam Dağları ) is a mountain range in Georgia and Turkey .
The Arsiani Mountains are located in the northwest of the Armenian Highlands . It extends over a total length of about 150 km in north-south direction. It forms the watershed between Çoruh ( Tschorochi ) in the west and Kura in the east. It is separated in the north by the river valley of the upper Ajariszqali from the western end of the Lesser Caucasus . The middle and southern part of the Arsiani Mountains are in Eastern Turkey. The confluence of Oltu Çayı and Çoruh is located on the southwestern edge of the mountain range . The highest point is the 3165 m high Arsian ( Yalnızçam ).
The mountains consist of mica schist , sandstone and volcanic sediments . The slopes are covered with forest, while alpine vegetation predominates on the mountain ridges.
