Artemis Pebdani

Artemis Pebdani (born August 2, 1977 in Texas ) is an American actress .

Life

Pebdani was born to Iranian parents. Her parents had left Iran in the mid-1970s, five years before the Islamic Revolution . Since the mid-1990s, she appeared with sketch and improv comedy performances.

After graduating from Southern Methodist University in acting, she moved to Los Angeles . Pebdani has appeared in various television productions since the mid-2000s. She was best known for the role of Artemis, named after her, in the comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia . Appearances in series such as Dr. House , How I Met Your Mother, and Modern Family . In 2014 she starred as Flo Packer in several episodes of the television series Masters of Sex .

Since 2014, she has played US Vice President Susan Ross in the political series Scandal .
