Arthur B. Modine

Arthur B. Modine also in the name variant Arthur Bernard Modine (born October 27, 1885 in Chicago , Cook County , Illinois , United States , † June 11, 1981 in Jupiter , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States) was an American Inventor and designer. He founded the Modine Manufacturing Company in 1916 to produce his special vehicle radiators .

Modine was an engineer with a degree from the University of Michigan. He registered a total of 120 inventions for patents, the last at the age of 91. He worked for the company he founded until 1972. Until 1946 he was its president.
