Arthur Gue Cissé (born December 29, 1996 ) is an Ivorian sprinter .

Athletic career

Arthur Cissé gained his first experience in international championships at the 2014 African Championships in Marrakech , where he was eliminated in the semifinals with 10.86 seconds. In the following year he won the silver medal behind the Nigerian Divine Oduduru at the Junior African Championships in Addis Ababa in 10.63 s , finished fifth in the 200-meter run in 21.92 s and was finished with the Ivorian 4 times 100 Meter relay fourth in 41.46 s. He then took part for the first time in the Africa Games in Brazzaville , won there with the relay in 38.93 s and was eliminated over 100 meters with 10.55 s in the semifinals. He was also eliminated from the semi-finals at the 2016 African Championships in Durban with 10.49 s, but won the silver medal behind South Africa with the relay in 38.98 s. At the Islamic Solidarity Games 2017 in Baku he won bronze in the relay in 39.82 s and finished fifth in the 100-meter run in 10.43 s. At the games of Francophonie in Abidjan , he won the relay in 39.39 s and won the silver medal over 100 and 200 meters in 10.34 s and 20.93 s respectively. In 2018 he took part in the 60-meter run at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham , where he was eliminated in the semifinals with 6.59 seconds. In August he won the silver medal behind the South African Akani Simbine at the African Championships in Asaba in 10.33 seconds . He also secured the bronze medal behind South Africa and Nigeria with the relay in 38.92 seconds. He then finished fifth in the Continental Cup in Ostrava in 10.23 seconds.

In 2019 he again took part in the African Games in Rabat and won the silver medal over 100 meters behind the Nigerian Raymond Ekevwo in 9.97 seconds . He was also used in the season in advance and also reached the finals, in which he was no longer part of the season. He then reached the semi-finals at the World Championships in Doha , where he was eliminated with 10.34 s.
