Arthur Fischer-Colbrie

Arthur Fischer-Colbrie (born July 25, 1895 in Linz , Upper Austria ; † December 30, 1968 there ) was a writer and civil servant at the Upper Austrian State Museum .

Fischer-Colbrie was a traditional and formally strict lyric poet .

After the connection of Austria in 1938 to the German Reich , Fischer-Colbrie involved with a post on "confession book Austrian poet" (published by the Association of German writers Austria ).

During the Nazi era , Hitler's plans for the Führer City of Linz were a regional player in the Reichsschrifttumskammer .

Fischer-Colbrie belonged to the group of poets The group around Friedrich Sacher (1899–1982).

Arthur Fischer-Colbrie is buried at the St. Barbara cemetery in Linz.
