Arthur Reinmann
Arthur Reinmann (* 1901 in Bernese Oberaargau ; † 1983 there , entitled to live in Walliswil-Bipp ) was a Swiss weightlifter and Olympic medalist.
His ancestors immigrated to Walliswil from Alsace in 1666 .
He got into weightlifting more indirectly. At the beginning of the 1920s, Reinmann worked for the Feldschlösschen brewery in Wangen an der Aare . As an amateur, he took part in the Olympics twice for Switzerland . At the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris he was able to win the bronze medal in featherweight (up to 60 kg). At the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam Reinmann came in fifth.
