Artem Andreyevich Korotin ( Russian Артём Андреевич Коротин ; also: Artem Korotin , Artiom Korotin * 27. April 1978 in Rybinsk , Soviet Union ) is a former Russian - Israeli hockey player , who most recently 2011-2013 with the Devils Rishon LeZion in Israel Hockey League played.

Career

Artjom Korotin first played for HC Ma'alot , for whom he made his debut in the Israeli ice hockey league in 2002 . With the club from the north of Israel, he won the Israeli championship title straight away . After not getting enough other titles, he moved to Ice Time Herzlia in 2009 and a year later to HC Metulla , with whom he was able to win the title again in 2011. He then moved to the Devils Rishon LeZion , for whom he was on the ice until 2013. With the team from the city in Gush Dan , he was also Israeli champions in 2013 and 2014 (as an assistant coach).

International

With the Israeli national team Korotin took part in the World Championships of Division II in 2003 , 2004 , 2005 , 2007 , 2010 and 2012 . 2006 World Cup , when the Israelis first played in Division I, he was also part of the Mediterranean nation's team. The team was overwhelmed there, however, and rose again without gaining points and with 3:47 goals.

Korotin also took part in the pre-qualification tournament for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , but retired with his team at the tournament in Zagreb without winning a point.

Coaching career

In addition to his active career, Korotin has already worked as a coach, so he was the assistant coach of the Israeli team at the U18 World Cup in 2013 , which competed in Division III. Since 2013 he has been the assistant coach of his club Rishon Devils.
