Artur Sérgio Batista de Souza , called Artur , (born August 5, 1994 in Abel Figueiredo , Pará ) is a Brazilian football player . The left foot is mainly used on the left side of defense.
Career
Artur started his career in the youth team of JV Lideral FC and SC Internacional . For Lideral he was allowed to appear in an A selection. In the Serie B of the Maranhão State Championship , he played his first game as a professional on December 2, 2012, and four more appearances in the competition followed.
After moving to Internacional , he sat on the bench nine times at the end of the 2013 season , but never played. In 2014, he again spent part of his time here in the club's U-20 selection. In the professional squad, he only sat on the bench once in Serie A. In the 2015 season , it was gradually able to assert itself. Little used at the beginning, he played almost every game towards the end. 2016 started well for him with frequent appearances in the Campeonato Gaúcho and the Primeira Liga do Brasil 2016 . At the beginning of 2017, Artur was loaned out to league competitor AA Ponte Preta for a year . Artur did not play a role in Inter's plans for the 2018 season either. To the games in the state championships he ran for Gremio Esportivo Brasil and for the championship round he came on loan to the Criciúma EC . On August 1st, 2018 Artur went to Vorskla Poltava in Ukraine . At the club he received a contract until June 30, 2020. His first league game in Premjer-Liha for Worskla will be on Artur on the 5th matchday of the 2018/19 season. In the home game against FK Mariupol on August 19, 2018, he was in the starting line-up. Artur made his debut on the international European stage in the 2018/19 UEFA Europa League . On September 20, 2018 , Artur started the first game in Group E away against Arsenal .
